This os an important work which I highly recommend for those who want to get outside their "bubble" and observe their uncontiousness. Are we uncontious? This book helps you to delve within and answer that question.
You should first read The Power of Now, I would say. Then repeat the reading or listening to of this book over and over. It contains the practices. Eckharts teachings are quite profound and incredibly simple. They take very little and sometime no time to implement. Yet they have made the most pronounced shift in my life. I have read dozens of self help, religious and philosophical books. His have impacted me more than any other.
I believe books transport you to worlds only imaginable in your wildest dreams! I also enjoy self-help books. I love books!!!!
Yes. I would listen over and over. This book has created a life changing experience for me. I am in the helping profession and it is not only a way of practicing being present but teaching others, especially young children as well.
The entire book is amazing.
I have listened to the original book The Power of Now.
This book helped me feel very at peace inside.
I love this author and the message within The Power of Now. I am planning to continue to collect his books and practice the teachings conveyed within.
This book and the narration were a perfect introduction to meditation for me. This is the first opportunity I've had to listen to a meditation cd/book and the pace and the words really resonated with me and my current situation. 5 stars all the way. Thank you
The original book The Power of Now, changed my life, my reality, everything . I still can fall back and forget, this audio is a good reminder of what the truth is. I've listened to it many times, gotten away from it, fell back into painful ego situations and this is what I always come back to. I'm in one of those situations now. I just finished listening to this book and about to listen again. Sometimes it takes repetition to rewire our crazy thinking. I would highly recommend any of his books and his live audios.
Pastry chef. Artist .the" sweet-art" ... Cakes & cookies decorator. Entrepreneur. Love to read & learn.
I know that the narrator is the author. But it should have been otherwise. The narration is BAD. The MOST BORING voice ever. The story is good and interesting. But I couldnt listen . The narration is very boring.
Also -I dont know why there is a bell sound here and there -so loud and the narration so boring- that it catches you by surprise and its alarming.
And this is the short version.
