Rachel finding her way into and out of dangerous situations.
Any Book in the Rachel Morgan series
She does a GREAT job with all of the different voices. She will always be the voice I consider as Rachel Morgan
Reader of things.
This one is one of the better ones. The characters become more developed, as does the setting and story lines
Aside from Rachel, I rather enjoy Ivy. She's both tough and sexy.
Rachel Morgan and company creates a glimpse at A supernatural side if the Midwest at its most entertaining.

I didn't like this one quite as much as the previous two -- there was a lot going on, but the depth of the relationships seemed a little lacking. I plan to read on, though -- I like this series overall.
I am loving this series by Kim Harrison. It is adventure for the brain.I can listen while I work & or exercise & time goes by effortlessly.I get things done & enjoy myself while getting them done.Margeurite is an amazing woman. She can flip from one character to the next effortlessly. There are quite a few character's too,so for her to be able to keep with these character's is awesome. Some times it's hard listening when a"woman"is doing a mans voice, but some how she can pull it off with out making it sound weird:)I am on my 4th book now in this series & looking forward to writing my next review.Rachel is finally growing a pair, a very BIG pair. She's awesome & so is her gang of supernatural friends.
I am new to audio books & loving it!!
This has been my least favorite of the series so far. There is too much demon and not enough pixie. That being said it is still a good book and I am looking forward to the next one. Can't wait to find out what kind of trouble everyone can get into next time. Again AWESOME narration!! (I feel like a broken record but she really is great). A must read/listen :)
I've always loved books. Even before I could read I've loved them. Fact or Fiction, I love books. I'd sooner read a book than see a movie.
The narrator Marguerite Gavin does a bang up job of performing each character, bringing each one alive and real. She can read demon, vampire, witch, and pixie or were, perfectly. I just love the demons the most.
When Rachel was trapped on a casino boat which was about to explode and how she managed to excape. I loved how she worked out more of her and the everafter story line. Each brining her character more complete and alive.
I loved her performance of the demons and I always love the pixies.
When one of her partners quit and when she excaped the everafter thinking of another one.
This is the best of the Rachel Morgan stories so far.
I think this book was right up there with the other books in the series. Rachelle Morgan is so fun to try and keep up with. I'm looking forward to listening to the next one.
I'm a 30-something paranormal, mystery, and humor enthusiast. For me, the main character is the most important part of a book.
Im not going to lie, but t didn't care for the second book, I found Rachel to be entirely too whiny and annoying. She redeemed herself in this one. And Kisten was fabulous.
I am an avid reader. I enjoy how audible allows me to do chores and listen. It also protects me from too much eye strain. I am picky about the reader. It can make or break a book for me. I love mysteries, psychological thrillers and espionage. My favorite series are by Lee Child, Vince Flynn, Brad Metzer and Kim Harrison. When I am not reading ...I workout and play volleyball.
I love this series so much that after reading all the books I have gone back and am now listening to the entire series. Witches, demons, vampires, pixies, fairies and elves. There is so much imagination and detail. I love the back story she creates to explain the entrance of inlanders into mainstream society. The reader is also fantastic. Be aware, she did not read book 6.
Her character development and her use of humor
Her ability to perform the various characters with a number of voices especially the Pixie.
I liked them both and read the entire series before listening to it. Gavin is not my favorite narrator but she did well in this book, except foe a few places where she paused a little to long as if my Kindle stopped working but it did not take away from the enjoyment of the story.
The story is great as it tells the story of a witch who is trying to stay alive a vampire and a pixie that befriend her. The three live together in a church and you can see the friendships develop. The best part is the fact that Ivy (vampire) Rachael (witch) live and work together but Rachael is scarred to death of ivy. It's an interesting story with a lot of mixed emotions. It's a good supernatural thriller with two main characters that have a lot of emotional baggage. I recommend this story and suggest that you listen or read them in order, just like the Bones and Cat books.
