Since discovering audible I have become an avid "reader" I have been able to read more books than I ever thought possible, as I am dyslexic. I love self help, thrillers, sc-fi, so much more.
Keeps you listening you never want to stop. Great writing and superb performance. I loved every second of this series
Like the whole premise for the book. Good interaction with characters. It just needed a little more something, but overall very entertaining.
My friend has been telling to read these books for years but I haven't had the time to really get into them. I downloaded the first on a whim and fell in love. For me the characters came to life as I listened.
Jynx! I can't count the number of times I laughed out loud at his antics. The narrator brings them all to life as distinguishable developed characters.
Brilliant. I the ever make this into a movie or show, I think I will be very weird to hear some other voice coming from the characters. She has done a wonderful job conveying the characters. I really enjoy her work.
The title says it all.
I want to write to you Ms. Kim Harrison, You have brought us a world of a Witch that lived in and old church with vampires and pixies and deal with demons too. Rachel has been learning and growing more powerful as the series has grown. This was a great 13th book. It said good bye to some and let us see the ending of an era for Rachel. BUT--we need more. This is not an end to Rachel's story, her story continues . Yes it is true you have done a great job with this last book--so you call it. But we as readers need more--Rachel's wedding and a baby--for starts. We need more! What would this child bring into play--fun, fun, fun! You have to let us see Rachel as a mother. Write novellas or a group of short stories if you feel you can not do a novel that let us see what life is like for Rachel in the future. At least one more book. Please-we are not tired of Rachel yet.
Thank you Marguerite Gaven, You have done a great job over the 13 books in this series. I hear your voice and I'm right back into the story where we left off the last time. Thank you
A day without sunshine is like, well, night.
Kim Harrison has created an urban fantasy series that is enjoyable and interesting. The action is good but not great. This is the third book in the series and contained a good mix of magic, sex and mystery. Rachael is a likable heroin, and the narration is good. This book hovers between 3 and 4 stars but not quite reaching 4 stars. Fun enough that I will listen to more.
Best of the series so far. Can't wait to start next one. Love Margurite's voice.
I would recommend this book to my friends who enjoy urban fantasy. I like the world building of the series, and there is a lot action.
Rachel is such a strong character, but when it comes to men she is an emotional marshmallow. I'd like to see her toughen up and be smart in her relationships.
I have listened to Marguerite Gavin's narration of the previous books from this series and also Pride and Prejudice. I think she is a fantastic narrator.
Out-wolfing the wolves
Rachel finding her way into and out of dangerous situations.
Any Book in the Rachel Morgan series
She does a GREAT job with all of the different voices. She will always be the voice I consider as Rachel Morgan
Reader of things.
This one is one of the better ones. The characters become more developed, as does the setting and story lines
Aside from Rachel, I rather enjoy Ivy. She's both tough and sexy.
Rachel Morgan and company creates a glimpse at A supernatural side if the Midwest at its most entertaining.
