I was looking for this book at the book store and was glad I found it on Audible. This is classic investment advice.
It's unique story telling approach
When they talk about the investing in a brick layer who's selling non-brick ideas versus the bronze maker needing bronze
The part concerning saving 10%
I enjoyed this book as an introduction to laying the foundation for building wealth for the future. I've use most of these methods already, but it was a great refresher. The reason this book is 3 stars for me is because I didn't learn much new material and it repeated itself a bunch. I would recommend these principles for someone starting out fresh from school though.
Investing in Gold and Silver by Mike Maloney because they both give great investing advice.
Ha yes it was. His stories are very interesting and very relevant. It is a great way to learn. I always found myself wanting to hear how the stories ended.
It is very good investing advice. The people who follow the book's advice will do very well financially.
I love this book. I also love the way it is read.
This is my all time favorite personal finance book as it guides you using stories that are engaging and that address obvious questions most of us wonder about.
His voice is perfect for the story and I loved the way he represents the different personalities in the book.
All the principles especially putting aside at least 10% of all you earn, making arrangements to pay off debt, having insurance, investing.
I like the way the book says, your 'gold' is an army working for you. Makes me ask myself how hard my money is working and if I have to look for ways for it to work harder.
This is wealth building basics. A 101 class on building wealth that is rarely taught, and often forgotten by those who were taught.
The information here is timeless, thus the whole taking place in ancient Babylon setting, which I found entertaining. It also added a sort of weightiness to the lessons that I enjoyed.
Everyone can benefit from the information in this book. Read it, read it again, then make your children read it.
I enjoyed everything about this audiobook. The story was intriguing and informative and the performance was fantastic. I don't think I can say enough good about this.
This is the book that many other financial books base their information. The "pay yourself first" idea has been used time and time again. However, what makes this story interesting is the novel like feel to it.
The narration and story are so good that my children were entertained while in the car driving.
Everything, It has really good advice that one can use and incorporate to one's financial decisions.
all of them
Pay myself first.
I love this book
An acted out story from long ago, this book gives simple advice that anyone can follow. I started as soon as I was finished listening by making a depoit to my savings account, which usually gets ignored in favor of paying bills and buying things that are not true needs.
