I've listened to this more than a dozen times and it is still as exciting and informative as the first time. I even bought the print book and ebook.

This book is a very entertaining collection of short stories that will teach financial wisdom. The stories are about how the ancients created wealth. The surprising part is that it all makes sense. I recommend listening to this with paper and pen so that you can write down these lessons. they will not be hard to find. In fact, they are in several places. A few of them are common sense but when they are woven into such an interesting story such as this, the lesson sticks better.
The second time I listened to this, I had pen and paper and I wrote down the lessons. I applied them to the way I handled my money. They work.. and they work well. I had initially listened to this recording several years from another source. I downloaded it to have my own copy and I am glad I did.
I highly recomend. Life changing. Motivating. Everyone should listen to it and pass on to your children.
This book is very fun to listen to, with all the parable's they give you. It makes a lot of sense and I have enjoyed listening to it more than once. Worth the money.
I've heard of this book before and finally got around to hearing it and I have to say I was impressed. Though the book lingers in the corners of novice level personal finance, it provides time tested financial advice in parables that allows you to not think of the lessons but simply absorb them. I enjoyed the reader who read with conviction and was very clear in his words. I would only suggest that now in todays economy, the lesson of saving 10 percent of your income should be updated to 15, but besides that it was very very helpful in helping me teach my son some BASICS on personal finance and getting him to see the advantages of building personal wealth as oppose to living a high consumer life style.
All makes perfect sense...book was suggested to me by a successful business person who abides by many of the simple principles of building wealth or at least increasing your financial stability.
Is teaching you a very simple way to live your life in prosperity , which is very helpful in today’s age of complicated financial calculations !
I really thought that I had a pretty strong understanding of finance and how the worlod worked and interest and well everything. Actually, as it turned out, I knew NOTHING. And what I thought I knew, I only knew wrong. This book should be required reading (or listening) at least once a year from the time you start highschool until you retire from working (at least working for money:)Thank you Alcahad, Banzar, and all the other ghost from old Babylon. Your truth is told.

The general message is good, but the language is hard to listen to. I couldn't make it through the whole thing. There were lots of thees and thous and the stories reflect ancient times. I would have preferred a modern version.
