I think James Patterson writes a good mystery, however, even though the Women's Murder Club is a good series, the individual books are not worth the money because they're too short. At least, in this box set, I got almost 24 hours of listening time. Won't spend my money on any more of this series unless they knocked the price down.
Lindsay, however, all the women in the club make it a good read.
She has a good voice. Wish in these books they did have a male voice for the male parts.
I was upset over the death of the little boy in The Fifth Horseman. It didn't move me in a good way.
As I wrote in the above, this Women's Murder Club series is good, just not worth the money for the individual audio books.
I like reading Patterson and enjoy his books.
The editing of this abridged version is HORRIBLE. It leaves huge holes in the story and skips around.
story line and writing I liked but had a hard time really following the story due to the editing
Ms. McCormick does a fine job in the narration of these stories and she really seems to know her characters well
I don't know- probably not
I tried to read these about a year ago and put it down. Just recently I'm tiring to read them again. But to be honest I probably won't even finish the first story and wish I could return it.
Characters that are less two-dimensional, and realistic dialog.
No, It hasn't turned off the author either. I've read quite a few of his books and enjoyed them
She just needed better material. I actually bought this book as an experiment because I enjoyed her reading of the Hunger Games books.
Not that I noticed, but I couldn't finish it.
