Didn't like his choice of voices or the way he chose to pronounce certain words.
will be glad to get back to Keating.
The story was great. We love the characters and their adventures.
The guy they have narrating this book make all the women characters sound the same like old, stuck up, nasty people. I understand that the role Alice is playing is that way but she sounded that way even when she was herself. So glad this is the only one I have with this guy narrating. I don't think I could do any more.
This book should be redone by the John Keating.
The story was engaging throughout, and the narrator has an easy to listen to voice and is a capable voice artist,
the books leaves you hanging at the end
It is with no disrespect that I write this review, however I must be honest.
I was disappointed and literally rechecked the download several times to make sure I had the right book. This book is not read like an active participant, but more like a third party and the narrator’s voice almost put me to sleep, so much so that I found the story hard to follow and could only listen in short increments.
I like the series so this is hard to write, but I’ve checked ahead and it seems this reading is a rarity and the next downloadable book is back to the style that sold me on the series.
The previous narrator was fine.
The narrator should at least keep to the pronunciations of the previous narrator.
Finally: WHAT HAPPENED TO BOOK #6 (
Stuart Blinder is a great narrator, don't get me wrong. But I feel he is wrong for this book, series. A classic like Moby Dick, or like wise stern novel serious and straight forward. But for a book with several deep characters, and jovial humor, he's just wrong for the part.
This is a great series to listen to!!! Lots of funny lines and friendship, This narrator was good but the other one is better. REALLY wish audible would get books 6 and 7 in the series though!!!
