You wonder if this stuff is true, but when you get to the end, you find all these stories that people tell about how reading the book changed their lives. This book is about healing and about how you don't need to depend on typical material means to be healed. God is really Love and by understanding the principles of how Jesus healed, real people nowadays can be healed too. This book takes close listening, but it is full of phrases that stay with you and if you think about them, it changes the whole way you think. I recommend this book for anyone who is a searcher for something better than the current health care situation.
I will soon be eighty one years young. I have had a very interesting life learning from it as well as enjoying it. I just published a book.
Over the past years I have read or have had read to me the text of this book many times. This was the first time that I read the book from start to end. I found doing so gave me a much better understanding of what the author wrote. I feel now thqt I better understand what I have taken as well have not taken from her writings and teachings.
Maybe you've read books like The Secret or works by Deepak Chopra, but this book delves even deeper into metaphysical, spiritual ideas. It's Bible and Christian-based, but raises the ideas about man's relationship to God to a whole new level. It takes some concentration to listen to, but is worthwhile.

It helps to actually read the book before posting an obviously uninformed review. This book is absolutely nothing BUT Christian thought.
This book has been acknowledged by the enlightened mind as a path to understanding what Christianity is really about. The material in this book, though Christian in form, is the perennial message of God and His salvation!
I don't like to reread books, but this book, which unlocks the Bible and makes it usable, is one that I study every day. The first chapter is a practical guide on how to pray. The final chapter, Fruitage, is 100 pages of testimonies from people who were healed just by studying this book.
This would be one of my selections if I were on a deserted island and had to choose just five books that I could have.
It is well read. There are a variety of readers so I don't get bored. They have strong analytical reading skills. The vocabulary is not always easy and I've found their pronunciation perfect.
My daily commute time literally hijacked any spare time for reading, and then, AUDIBLE.
This book is a sheer classic for mystical, cerebral types that can appreciate profound ideas!
This review is a correction to a review of the 1910 Edition of Science and Health (also available on Audible) lovingly read by Andrew Kidd, an independent Christian Science practitioner, wherein the reviewer says that the readers of this "authorized"* and "copyrighted"* version are "professional readers" who have no understanding of what they are reading. This is not true. Every reader was/is a Journal-listed practitioner, so they read with deep understanding. I say this as a 40-year student of Christian Science (now, also independent) merely to set the record straight. I own both the "authorized" and final 1910 print editions of Science and Health and there are only minor differences between them. I prefer the "authorized" audiobook only because some of the readers' voices are very familiar to me.
*The Board of Directors of The Mother Church and the Christian Science Publishing Society would like to have people believe that Mary Baker Eddy gave them the right to "authorize" and "copyright" her writings. This is not true. Mrs. Eddy felt that dedicated Christian Scientists were capable of deciding for themselves what they should read and all of her writings are now in the public domain (despite the efforts of those at The Mother Church to have a special law passed to extend the copyright; to those who may doubt this, it is all part of the public record).
You will have had to of read the Bible several times over, prayed incessantly, and asked for guidance in order to grasp what is being conveyed by this work. Our Tim has come.
