This was a no-nonsense approach to playing winning poker. Phil dove right into what goes on in his head when sitting down at the poker table. He tells you how to handle different types of opponents, simplifies the math, and goes over the various situations that arise in almost every game.
Keep a pen and pad handy because you will want to take notes. This is one of the better poker books out there.
This was the 1st poker book I ever read more then 10 years ago. Its a great read. You can read it in one sitting and easy to understand!
I would definitely recommend this book to anyone who is trying to perfect their game. The audio version is only 4 hrs long, great to listen to when youre on your way to the casino or vegas
Easy to comprehend and great lessons on the game. I had the book before purchasing the audio version to listen to on my commute. I will listen and re-listen to this book no doubt.
Outside of Doyle Brunson's "Super System", this is my favorite poker book. By far the best poker book on Audible as of 12/2013.
I doubt thats possible with this author
I am afraid so.
simpler, more practical language
I don't know where to begin
Perhaps the book is too advanced for me...a Texas Hold-em player of 30 years !
