Props to Dave Ramsey, I've been changing my life with just a few simple but quite obvious and sometimes nerving steps. But when applied are incredibly helpful, fulfilling, and exciting (baby) steps! While listening, religious references are somewhat blatant but only referenced and not meant to be derogatory. I recommend this book to ANYONE who handles, looks, or receives money in any way, shape, or form. Life Changing!
Lots of useful information. I've been fed the same lies about money and debt over the years, but when Dave lays them out for you, they just make sense. I definitely had a couple of "well DUH!" moments while listening to this book.
Definitely going to start investing more and paying off the little bit of debt that I have with a more ferocious fervor.
Part advice, part motivation. Dave Ramsey reminds me of a high school coach (one who actually knows what he's talking about) teaching a class on personal finance. I plan to apply what I've learned to my daily life.
Yes, there are some principles that will help people practically manage money better.
The Christian influence of David's suggestions. Accumulating wealth is not the end goal, giving it away is.
Excitement about the ideas presented.
The order in which we should pay off loans.
While it may not be practical for many to follow all of David's suggestions to a "T", the book offers many practical ideas on how to radically change the way we view and spend money.
What an amazing book! A must read for people struggling financially. But also for high school and college age students. I first did financial peace university at my local church when i was a senior in high school. Who knows where i would have been if it werent for Dave!
This book is amazing. I am starting this plan now. I've heard so many great things about Dave's plan and I'm excited to get out of debt, build wealth and most of all GIVE.
