"Not Much More to Say"
Other then delve into what has already been said, there's a reason this series is as acclaimed as I've heard about. With the conclusion of this book and the epic scope of where you'll be taken you'll be left wondering, "Now what could follow that up?" I'm about to find out as I download the third in the series with a high recommendation for this book, as well.
"Great audio book"
I am hooked. Love this audio book, can't get enough.
"2nd book down and all is well"
The book dragged on and got a little boring until the second half. I could not stop listening to the story because it was so compelling. Everything is tied in very well and I enjoyed it very much.
"Awesome job!"
This was very well done on a series that I absolutely love! What a great story!
"A great Second to the Wheel of Time Series"
The Great Hunt Does not Displease! it is an excellent second novel to The Eye of The World, again Robert Jordan is an excellent writer!
"The Great Hunt"
Wow! What a book! Jordan develops his characters in the greatest of details, and the sheer volume of characters added throughout the story creates an intellectually intriging adventure with plots that twist and turn into subplots of subplots. I just down loaded book 3 to the Wheel of Time series, as books 1 and 2 have gotten me all wrapped-up in this exciting tale and looking forward to more, much more....I'm hooked.
"Hunt for the Horn"
Robert Jordan has done it again, this is a great story of adventure and suspense. What is Rand Al'Thor up to? There are so many ways each book can go, look for great advancements in Matt's character in the series in this book.

"Guilty pleasure"
I've been reading fantasy novels since I was a kid. Someone handed me the first novel in the Wheel of Time series last year, and I had a hard time reading the paperback version with all the made up words, names, and places the author has invented. I thought "why not listen to an audio book, and see how to pronounce this stuff?" I totally got hooked to it in audio form. This installment is well read and a pleasure to listen to, and now I know how to pronounce Aes Sedai =)
"Much better"
Ok. I have changed my mind. The Great Hunt was much better than The Wheel of Time. In actuallity I am on the Fires of Heaven now and loving it, but I felt that I needed to reverse my previous lukewarm opinion of this series at this point.
The characters are much more fleshed out and made into individuals in this book. I laughed out loud at least twice.
"I'm addicted!"
I thought the first book was good! This one has me working my schedule to make listening a priority. After reading the first book and knowing there are twelve books in the series, I thought it must be twelve repeats of a good thing and it would get boring. Boy was I wrong so far... The author introduces so many new characters and ideas to the story that it leaves a vast amount of questions that no one book can provide answers for. I look forward to the adventures and experiences that will be provided in the next 10 volumes. I have actually contemplated shelling out whatever it would cost to buy all volumes now in one bunch. I think I'll check myself in to the clinic and get treatment - as long as they let me bring my audible player!!
By the way, the narrators do an excellent job, and boy, those voices... sexy!
Jordan is a genious and I am hooked!
