Adullam – Dealing with difficult people Part 3 Adam Ramsey

(Psalm 142:4 NKJV) Look on my right hand and see, For there is no one who acknowledges me; Refuge has failed me; No one cares for my soul.

(Proverbs 10:12 CEV) Love overlooks the wrongs that others do.

(Proverbs 12:16 NLT) A fool is quick-tempered, but a wise person stays calm when insulted.

(Proverbs 19:11 NKJV) A man’s wisdom gives him patience; it is to his glory to overlook an offense.

(Matthew 5:38-44 NKJV) “You have heard that it was said, “An eye for an eye and a tooth for a tooth.’ But I tell you not to resist an evil person. But whoever slaps you on your right cheek, turn the other to him also. If anyone wants to sue you and take away your tunic, let him have your cloak also. And whoever compels you to go one mile, go with him two. Give to him who asks you, and from him who wants to borrow from you do not turn away. You have heard that it was said, “You shall love your neighbor and hate your enemy.” But I say to you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good those who hate you, and pray for those who spitefully use you and persecute you, that you may be sons of your Father in heaven.

(Luke 23:34 NIV) Jesus said, “Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they are doing.”

(Colossians 3:13 NLT) You must make allowance for each other’s faults and forgive the person who offends you. Remember, the Lord forgave you, so you must forgive others.

(Matthew 7:1-3 NIV) “Judge not, that you be not judged. For with what judgment you judge, you will be judged; and with the measure you use, it will be measured back to you. And why do you look at the speck in your brother’s eye, but do not consider the plank in your own eye?

(Luke 6:27-28) But I tell you who hear me: Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you, bless those who curse you, pray for those who mistreat you.

(1 Peter 3:9 NCV) Do not do wrong to repay a wrong, and do not insult to repay an insult. But repay with a blessing, because you yourselves were called to do this so that you might receive a blessing.

(Proverbs 24:17-18 NIV) Do not rejoice when your enemy falls, And do not let your heart be glad when he stumbles; Lest the Lord see it, and it displease Him, and He turn away his wrath from him.

(Romans 12:17-21) Do not repay anyone evil for evil. Be careful to do what is right in the eyes of everybody. If it is possible, as far as it depends on you, live at peace with everyone. Do not take revenge, my friends, but leave room for God’s wrath, for it is written: “It is mine to avenge; I will repay,” says the Lord. On the contrary: “If your enemy is hungry, feed him; if he is thirsty, give him something to drink. In doing this, you will heap burning coals on his head.” Do not be overcome by evil but overcome evil with good.

(Matthew 10:8) …Freely you have received, freely give.

(Ephesians 4:31-32) Get rid of all bitterness, rage and anger, brawling and slander, along with every form of malice. Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you.

Salvation was never about doing to obtain, but rather surrendering to receive.

  • Adullam - Part 2 - Listening For The Voice Of God
    May 13 2024

Adullam – “Listen for God in the Cave”.

    Part 2 Pastor David King

(Psalms 142:2-3 NLT) 2 I pour out my complaints before him and tell him all my troubles. 3 When I am overwhelmed, you alone know the way I should turn. Wherever I go, my enemies have set traps for me.

(1 John 4:1 NIV) Dear friends, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, because many false prophets have gone out into the world.

(Proverbs 14:12) There is a way that appears to be right, but in the end, it leads to death.

(Matthew 19:3-6) 3 Some Pharisees came to him to test him. They asked, “Is it lawful for a man to divorce his wife for any and every reason?” 4 “Haven’t you read,” he replied, “that at the beginning the Creator ‘made them male and female,’ 5 and said, ‘For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and the two will become one flesh’[b]? 6 So they are no longer two, but one flesh. Therefore, what God has joined together, let no one separate.”

(Luke 21:33 TLB) And though all heaven and earth shall pass away, yet my words remain forever true.

(Philippians 2:5 NCV)In your lives you must think and act like Christ Jesus.

(2 Corinthians 10:5 NIV) We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ.

(James 3:17-18) 17 But the wisdom that comes from heaven is first of all pure; then peace-loving, considerate, submissive, full of mercy and good fruit, impartial and sincere. 18 Peacemakers who sow in peace reap a harvest of righteousness.

(Proverbs 12:15) The way of fools seems right to them, but the wise listen to advice.

(Proverbs 19:20-21) 20 Listen to advice and accept discipline, and at the end you will be counted among the wise. 21 Many are the plans in a person’s heart, but it is the Lord’s purpose that prevails.

(Proverbs 24:6) Surely you need guidance to wage war, and victory is won through many advisers.

(Philippians 4:6-7) 6 Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. 7 And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

(John 10:4 MSG) the sheep recognize his voice. He calls his own sheep by name and leads them out.

(John 10:5) When he gets them all out, he leads them and they follow because they are familiar with his voice. They won’t follow a stranger’s voice but will scatter because they aren’t used to the sound of it.”

(John 10:27) My sheep recognize my voice. I know them, and they follow me.
