First and foremost, this is a must read that levels the playing field for EVERY believer and clearly explains the purpose of prophecy! This book will absolutely transform your life if you are open to being challenged and willing to apply these practical steps! There are so many timeless treasures and valuables hidden in this book that you can constantly reread it and learn even more every time. I don't even consider myself a prophet but since reading this book, I've been applying these principles and have seen God show up in mighty ways speaking through me and through others to me! I would strongly recommend Translating God to every person that I know because it will give them the reassurance that God deeply loves them and wants to speak to and through them for His glory alone!

Surprisingly Balanced

I was very impressed with the message of this book. It encourages the correct heart position behind prophecy. This is one of the healthiest teachings I've interacted with.

Expanding on hearing from God

This book has blessed me tremendously. Reason it helped me to even grow more in the prophetic and hearing from God for myself and others. It is solid Word based advice. It challenges me to grow in my relationship with God, Jesus and Holy Spirit. To step out more and be even more courageous when speaking to people in my everyday life. I would say that it’s a must read for any believer doesn’t matter what level of learning you are. Even building your faith in practicing hearing God’s heart for people.

Putting prophecy in the context of love!

I feel so encouraged by Shane Boltz wisdom and teaching about prophecy. I have begun to step out more with words and I feel like this book helped me get over my inhibitions. I didnt want to be the strange and isolated prophet so I was running from my gifting. Shane helped me see how I can be a prophet in the context of deep relationships. I feel so encouraging after reading this. I am going to read all his other books.

The reader was pretty bad. He was clipped and monotone during most of the narration and I found myself getting bored but realizing it wasn't the book but the reader.

I loved examples of success and failure. It's good to see that there is an intense internal battle from the beginning and that it is normal
