Terrific audiobook. This book had so much going on. The Focus Objects that are used for time travel are being used by a mysterious group! Can Joseph find out what is going on and fix the damage? This object is a very antique d pottery of a Chinese horse!

Best of the series!?!?

I think this might be the best one in the series! Crazy suspense and multiple adventures! I couldn’t stop listening.

Good series

Good series, interesting story. Ray porter is a great narrator. Can’t wait for the next one.

Fantastic lots of fun

I just love this book it was a pleasure to read the story is compelling and the characters come alive. Well worth the one credit

Pretty good, a little redundant tho

If you've read the previous books, he kinda hammers on the same themes. The majority is good story though, so I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it. Ray Porter as always is an excellent narrator, only one or two mispronounciations (tinnitus for example)

Masterpiece of a series!

Narrator does so well, the storyline is addictive and it has something for everyone.
You will find yourself staying awake well into the night because you can’t stand the suspense.
I have listened to hundreds of books and I can say this series has become my favorite.
It’s been a roller coaster of feelings listening to the books and I love that every book has the ability to get under my skin this way ( a great way). It’s that kind of story that stays with you long after you read it. It’s touching, thought provoking, suspenseful and at times poetic even! The author is brilliant… do not pass any of the books over in this series, it’s been so long since I’ve come across a series I have so fully enjoyed. I hope the author keeps writing and Porter keeps narrating the stories!

Excellent series

Hold on to your hats, every book in the Joseph Bridgeman series is a fun, entertaining story with twists, lovable and complex characters, and new world-building ideas! I’ve read the first four in ten days. 10/10 recommend.

SIMPLY INCREDIBLE - MUST READ

First, I HIGHLY recommend this book and the complete series!!

This book has Joseph Bridgeman being introduced to even more hair-raising danger, more depth, more variant intricacies AND so many more nuances/realities (real and virtual) in the time travel world we have come to love. The development of the process of traveling to the future to speak with those at the continuum was fantastic. The way Author Nick Jones has developed the characters over the course of this 4-book series is so well written, intertwined and thought out. Loved the continued development of Josephs relationship with Alexa!! Vinnie is awesome and I hope he travels in Book 5!! Love to hate Vinnie’s girlfriend and all the villains (new and old), Extempero etc. All are outstanding!

The voyage back to China was flat out INCREDIBLE. You absolutely can tell Nick spent a ton of time researching life in Ancient China. Details are fascinating! My feet were cold, and my stomach was starving for food as I read this section, LOL!

STOP here if you don’t want to read more deeper specifics….

The way Nick tied in the 1989 SF Earthquake is incredible. Including the play-by-play narrating of the World Series crew on network TV. One of the network guys, Al Michaels ties in again later in a dream that is so cool. Out of pure curiosity, I actually searched the ’89 SF quake on YouTube and found everything in the book so SPOT ON. Loved the new twist/variant in splitting time (cloning) with a simple push of a button on Joseph’s gizmo wristband.

Nick really puts us inside Joseph’s character with how much of a regular guy he is. A guy with normal human emotions; Fear, Love, Anger, Humility and Courage. I absolutely did NOT want Joseph to go back in that rumbling timebomb of an apartment for the third time BUT absolutely knew he would. I was desperately counting the 3 seconds after he pushed that button!

Finally, the way Nick potentially set the stage for Book 5 (which I HOPE Blackstone Publishing green lights) is pure cliff hanger GOLD! We really do not know the fate of the Continuum OR Humanity right now !!!

Really enjoyed the fourth book in this series. I do hope there will be a fifth book.

The Best of an Already Fantastic Series

The character evolution in this series is amazing. My sole issue is that I'm out of new books in the series to read. Amy if you're reading this, could you please bring back the rest of the series on your next return trip?
