It was supposed to be a fresh start. A completely blank slate in a place where no one knew about the tragedy that ripped her family apart six months ago. A tragedy Rowan can't help but blame herself for.

LOVE
I was entranced from page one. The storyline is great, the characters are real and have depth, and the emotion is a rollercoaster ride. I am in love with this series. A fabulous start and Aletha George is incredible and brings the story to life.

Kept me listening
i wasn't aware that it was going to be a reverse harem when I started.. I usually skip then to much porn for me.. But this wasn't over the top well not yet anyway.. I'm invested so I'm going to listen to the next book.. This story has been great so far

Cliffhanger
It was a very good story with character driven plot but it was a cliffhanger at the end. I really want the full story so I guess on to the next installment.

the narrator voice

Mysterious with some damsel in distress goodness
Loved this! I’m off to listen to the next one immediately. I was hooked. The story kept me listening all day.

love, love, love!!
I truly enjoyed this book. I didn't think I would because it only had one narrator, but somehow she makes it work. that betrayal surprised me, I can't deny. I can't wait to see what happens next. Geesh!

On Edge
This book kept me on edge. I also had the actual book on kindle downloaded. The narration in the kindle app helped me a lot. I didn’t realize it wouldn’t sink to Audible so I had to play it separately here. The only issue I had with the audible is that the chapters didn’t match with the kindle book itself for example it would say Chapter 47 when it was actually Chapter 46 that was all. I highly recommend this book.
