Love Shadow

I love Shadow’s accent; Irish is so sexy. Storyline is interesting; hate cliffhangers when next book in the series has not been released; seems there are more books like this lately. Narrators did a great job; Jaime has such a smart mouth; she is funny. Looking forward to listening to the next book; release date is today but doesn’t appear that will happen.

I have nothing but good things to say about the narrators of this book, they perform all the characters beautifully.

My only real detractor from the story is that it is very verbose. I would say at least 4 hours of content was unnecessary, and the constant ranting internal hate on dialog the heroine has toward 98% of her pack is redundant and almost caused me to loose interest.

That being said, I am very glad I pushed past it. I think I am hooked, and it all started with a library. I can't wait to hear what happens next, and what our heroine does to Shadow. The fact that Shadow is a hunky tattooed bad boy type is all the better.

I will definitely check out the next book in the series.

Yep! It was and super captivating! It’s not PG juuuust as a heads up but nothing too bad. I like a little romance of course. 😊

Just fluff

Even though this book is marked as “adult” it’s really not, not the writing style and dialogue anyway. The only thing that makes it adult is the sex and swearing. It wasn’t horrible though since I got all three books but you just have to enjoy it for what it is. Really the best parts are the sex scenes and the leads description of the Shadow Beast. He’s hugggggeeeeee. Enjoy!

Good first in series

Enjoyed this book as well as performance. definitely looking forward to the next and see where it takes me from there.

Excellent & Compelling!

I come here today from a long, long list of fantasy books. Listening to this story became top priority! I wanted to be inside this fantasy world, more so as I became familiar with the characters. I am very happy this isn't where this story ends! I can't get my credit card out fast enough - Buy "Rejected", don't waste another day without beginning this series! The narration of female/male is perfect ❤️

Good story

I found myself laughing more than once. Slow burn but funny FMC. Different take on the shifter story. I do recommend...my only complaint is there is a cliffhanger which I truly hate. I tend to not download books if it states book 1 and I don’t see a book 2 in case I love it. The book gave no indication of a series.

Wow!

I was initially very hesitant to get this book. All of the reviews are so extreme! Either they loved it or they hated it. After listening to this book I am blown away. There is fantastic character development and I love the details that went into creating the dimensions outside of the human one. For anyone who has a history of being abused or mistreated in their life, I think you would very much relate to this main character’s wrath and defiance. She is only 22 years old, but overall I found her character incredibly realistic in terms of how I would have handled her situation at her age. Perhaps even now? So for all of you that are looking through these reviews, don’t be overly alarmed at the negative ones. I am honestly shocked at how many people didn’t like this book. It was fantastic! I’m so excited to start the next one. I should also clarify that my library has hundreds and hundreds of books in it just from audible. I have read thousands of books and I found this one to be particularly good.
