This had high ratings, sorry to say that I was disappointed. Felt like I was listening to the hunger games.

Couldn't stop listening!

I was iffy when I downloaded this book. It's not something that I normally read but I was pleasantly surprised! I couldn't stop listening!!! There were so many twists and turns and surprises. I absolutely loved it! I highly recommend it!

Wonderful

This was my first audible experience and I just say I'm glad a settled on this title.
Characters are well thought out along with the story.
Highly recommend.

Hunger Games Lite

Story was good and narrator was pretty good, but I felt like I was listening to the Hunger Games all over again.

Just ok

I liked it enough to finish- it was an interesting story but not perfect. Some parts went too fast, some too slow. There were predictable parts, and other parts I wondered where in the world that came from. I also felt like the author made Mera, the main character, way too much like Katniss from Hunger Games, or the girl from Divergent. She should have had her own style, not a typical dystopian heroine. Above all else, Mera is murderer, willing to sacrifice people who oppose her or her cause. That's no hero to me.

Simple divide, brilliant idea!

The simplicity of the idea of a world divided by the mere colour of blood, red and silver, is brilliant. The task of making us understand and empathise with these characters all through Mare’s point of view is daunting, but Victoria Aveyard has risen to the feat. I can't imagine anyone else but Amanda Dolan bringing her story to life.

Hooked!

It was entertaining from the beginnig. I did had some trouble following up all the names of the story but the story line was very captivating!

Red/Silver

I love this series and author. At first I was like... ok this isn’t great but not bad... and then it just took off... I couldn’t stop. I literally went through the entire series in a matter of days. I had to know what was next! Highly recommend.

It is a bit too like Hunger Games, overly complicated and trying to be gritty.
