Her only clean friend pushes her to train for a 10K with him, and surprisingly, she likes it and decides to run her first marathon after that.

In Reborn on the Run, the listener keeps pace with Catra as she runs through difficult terrain and extreme weather, is stalked by animals in the wilderness, and nearly dies on a training run but continues on, smashing running records and becoming one of the world's best ultrarunners.

inspiring story

great inspiring story of grid and determination full of funny and uplifting moments as well as trough fight for survival.

AMAZING

I related 100% as an athlete and ex addict. A must read for sure. Also Dan is from the same town as I Greeley Colorado.

Authentic, honest, heartbreaking, and inspiring.

A truly inspiring story of healing through finding a passion. Catra is such a unique voice and’s I found much of what she has to say difficult to listen to. Often because it made me confront some of my own demons that chase me in my runs. The cause of many of her pains may be different from the readers, but the pain itself is all too familiar. It’s inspiring to hear from a tough as nails person who refuses to be defined by pain, and instead finds a way to use it as fuel for the positive. A great read. Highly recommended.

Great Book

This book is great to listen to on the way to work or just sitting around. Its not only a well written but its also inspiring and motivate as well. Makes me want to try and run a 50 miler.

Catra rocks!

Loved the history of Catra and her victory in life. Something all of us seek and few of us find.

I was with Catra

The narrator was perfect for this book, she portrayed Catra so well, I thought I was with Catra on my walks, as she told me her story, which is amazing!

the story jumped around alot in my opinion but such an inspiration I cant leave anything less than 5 stars

Catra is badass

As a fairly new runner ultra running is fascinating to me and a future goal. I started this book for the running knowledge and ultra stories. This book is so much more. A wonderful tale of resilience and determination. Challenges and triumphs of goals and trauma through a beautiful life. I have read the standard best sellers on self improvement and mental toughness, this book is at the top of the list. It has been my running companion for the past few weeks. Great story.

The kind of story that grips you and takes you along!
