I expected to bump into past ghosts, but I never expected those ghosts to reopen old wounds. The biggest ghost of them all: Charlie Marsh. He was the man who had stolen my heart when we were teens, and who now couldn't even remember a single day we had spent together. Which makes it exceptionally awkward when he becomes my first client.

as great as the ebook
The story is always full stars, because if I wouldn't like the story as ebook, I wouldn't listen to the audiobook.
The performance from the narrator is also very important for me. I can't listen to a lot, because my English as a non-native-speaker isn't so perfect to follow a whole story over hours, when the narrator speaks too fast or too sloppy. Normally I have to SEE the person, who is talking to me in English. Michael Ferraiuolo is one of the top 5 narrators for me, I can listen without break and have no problems to follow.
I'm just not yet finish with the book, but I listen enough to give a review.

Perfect read for quarantine and beyond
It was a good story, and, once again, it pulled me in and I felt connected to the characters. The author snd narrator did a great job, as usual.

Good story. Good narration.
This series is a good read if you are looking for steamy scenes involving military men and tattoos. This book specifically, is filled with steam.
The narration was fairly well done. I didn't particularly like the voice used for John, but that was just because it didn't match the voice I had in my head.
