But despite the simmering sexual tension and yearning between us, I know there's no way I'll ever be able to tell him how I feel. After all, I'm a human and he's a vampire, and he's told me more than once that those love stories never end well.

Too bad my heart doesn't know the difference.

love this series but the narrator in this one not so much (personal opinion). I wish I had listened to the female voice first. She sounds like a older woman and when she tries to narrate sex scenes it gets worse.

Relatable Characters

This was a great spinoff of a touch and go, friends to lovers story. Amythest was such a real character and the death of her mother brought back so many thoughts and memories of losing my own mom.

Skip this, great series that should’ve ended on last book

Female narrator sounds like a 60 year old and supposed to be a 30 year old. The story is lame, too much of the story focuses on someone that died and it dragged on and on. Then he’s calling her “baby” like she’s a stranger and can’t remember her name, when they’ve been friends for 10 year. Great series that really crapped the bed on this last book.

Bored

I had to listen to this at 2x the speed and it still dragged at a snail’s pace. I feel like it’s after school special about grief.
