sorely disappointed

having finished reading all of agatha christie’s works, i was wanting for more & was so excited and curious to see how this would work out. I really wanted to give this a chance and even reached the 5th story before i had to cut my losses and give up. Nowhere do the stories come near to the original author’s style. The similarities begin and end only with miss marp’e’s name & knitting and thats about it. The stories are super boring, no spark of excitement whatsoever & the ludicrous plots birder on the nonsensical at times.

True blue Agatha christie fans, save your credit & skip this one. Youre welcome.

All the authors did a superb job bringing Miss Marple back to life. I hope they can do it again!

Delightful Addition to the Miss Marple Canon

Delightful new Miss Marple short stories. She lives on in these new adaptations. Great for a new generation of crime sleuth enthusiasts.

I love these mysteries - they felt very true to Agatha Christie’s Miss Marple and the readers were terrific.

I have thoroughly enjoyed this set of stories. The different writers have captured the essence of Miss Marple beautifully. I thoroughly enjoyed their creative approaches to one of my favorite characters and writers. Each reader brought all of their characters to life beautifully. If you’re an Agatha Christie fan, you will enjoy this production.

Surprising

I'll admit it, my expectations were low. I mean how do various authors take a stab at creating new Miss Marple stories by the formidable Agatha Christie? I have read most of Christie's works and I believed I would mostly be disappointed with this collection. I feel it was obvious that each writer was a true fan of Christie's Marple stories. Research into past Christie stories and the time periods don't disappoint in any of these tales. A true Marple fan will love this collection.

Golden + Sterling

Golden (age) authors and sterling narrators = jewel like stories.

A true delight to listen and re-listen.

I enjoyed listening. the narrators were great, the stories for the most part really good. I love Agatha Christie's Miss Marple and these extra stories do her justice.
