Have you been betrayed?

This is the absolute most informative and helpful book I’ve read yet since learning of my husband’s infidelity after 28 years married. This is the most logical and common sense advice and it has been the only help that makes sense to me. My H faked reconciliation, abused in so many ways and gaslit my kids against me. I am devastated at the loss of my family and marriage but this book opened my eyes to what was going on inside of me and the conflicts and failure of reconciling. After this book, I can only now begin to understand better what has happened to me. Now, I have to learn to heal and with no closure or apology, nothing from him, this is going to be monumental, but I’m better prepared because of the truths in this book. Thank you for writing this.

This was exactly what I needed to hear.

I wish I wasn’t personally familiar with the topic of conversation in this book but sadly, I know the pain of infidelity all too well. I wish I would’ve heard this before I spent countless days and months trying to repair a marriage that had no business remaining a marriage. This book is perfect and it accurately describes what everybody should do. Anyone who has an affair, only thinks about themselves and not the people they are supposed to love. Anyone who is capable of doing that is not someone you want in your life. This book lays out thereasons why perfectly.

Mixed feelings

This book is very one-sided and biased. Which?
They don't tell you till the end of the book. They draw in a lot of good references for psychiatry in psychology , professors and novelists. And compose this book based on letters of people who had been cheated on without knowledge. if are in an open relationships or discussions prior to sleeping with other people. this is not for you. If you're wanting a sign that you should divorce your partner. Leave your partner. This is your sign. This is your book, and that's all this is.

Very helpful

This was one of the best books I’ve read to help me clearly understand my path after my husband had an affair. He cheated . He gave me a prison sentence. I am so glad I found this book. I understand the internal feelings I’m fighting better now. Thank you!

Most negative unhelpful book

There is not even a crumb of positive thoughts in this book. I hope the authors never try to put out a book on suicide prevention.

had a very hopeless tone & completely bias

I felt that this book was a complete waste of time. I regret devoting my time to listening to it. It is very one sided and suggests the only way to heal is to leave & that if the right decision for you is to stay, then you must be weak or completely naive. Because the false narrative of once a cheat, always a cheat. It goes to as far as to suggest that it is impossible for you to find happiness after an affair-if you’re happy with staying with your spouse, you’re probably lying. The whole tone of the book is negative & void of hope. This book might be right for you if you don’t want to move forward with your life and wish to remain miserable and bitter. In my opinion, there are far better books out there to read that are more positive regardless of the outcome of your relationship.
