Scrum is adaptive, efficient, agile, and simple. So, why are you struggling? Not all organizations that adopt the Scrum framework will have a smooth transition. Some may find themselves grappling with new concepts and new ways of doing things. The work process under Scrum is wildly different from the waterfall method, so even if Scrum is simple to understand, it can be difficult to master.

We're now living in the project economy. As the number of projects initiated in both the public and private sectors skyrockets, project management skills have become essential for all leaders and managers. But despite this project boom, the failure rate remains extremely high. Why? When you’re too focused on sales and numbers, you won’t be able to create the kind of product that earns your customers’ lifetime loyalty. It will keep you from seeing that the seemingly effective workflows that you’ve always used are wasteful and inefficient. Fortunately, going lean can help you change all of that. Lean is a customer-centric approach that aims to meet customer demands exactly at their moment of need. By making them your top priority, your company wouldn’t end up being a one-hit wonder that never truly understood what the market needs in the first place.

The Agile methodology is a project management methodology that uses short development cycles (called "sprints") to focus on continuous improvement in the development of a product or service. It consists of a family of methods (including Scrum, extreme programming (XP), test-driven development (TDD), and feature-driven development (FDD), each of which has the objective to provide a better product in less time, avoiding development of useless functions and overcoming errors that a traditional planning method could result in, both for big and small projects.

Agile PM is a methodology to implement to get maximum business efficiency eliminating waste and reducing production costs. This is the most basic definition of agile. Scrum, in particular, is one of the most used agile frameworks. Initially, Scrum was born for software development projects, but it can now be applied also in innovative and more complex projects. Applying it, the work is completed and delivered in short cycles (called sprints) to keep the focus on development and continuous improvement of a product or service.

Resumen del Editor
Are you looking for the most productive ways to elevate your business and execute your projects faster?
Look no further, Agile is for you and this is the audiobook for you to learn about Agile!
This audiobook is intended to provide an understanding of how to fit agile methodologies into an overall business strategy that provides the right balance of control and agility for your business, for all listeners (and, in particular, business leaders).
In many cases, agile methodologies have been applied from a technical viewpoint - in addition to a development perspective, they need to be considered from a much wider business strategy, project management and project governance context.
This audiobook is intended for everyone but most especially project managers to provide a much deeper understanding of agile concepts, methodologies, and practices so that project managers can build a more agile project management approach and understand how to combine and adapt agile and conventional principles, methodologies, and practices to establish an appropriate balance of control and agility to suit a business environment.
In this audiobook you’ll learn:
- The history of Agile and the need for it in modern businesses
- How to implement Agile in businesses and projects
- Introduction to Kanban and the Kanban board
- How to make estimations with Agile
- Agile project management tools

Historia
When Michael Lewis first met him, Sam Bankman-Fried was the world’s youngest billionaire and crypto’s Gatsby. CEOs, celebrities, and leaders of small countries all vied for his time and cash after he catapulted, practically overnight, onto the Forbes billionaire list. Who was this rumpled guy in cargo shorts and limp white socks, whose eyes twitched across Zoom meetings as he played video games on the side? In Going Infinite Lewis sets out to answer this question, taking listeners into the mind of Bankman-Fried.

Meh....not great
This book was clearly written by a non-native English speaker and then had a poor editor. It is filled with incorrect aphorisms and similies that distract from an already unwieldy subject. There are far better book on this subject.
