I love to read, and have eclectic tastes. I enjoy reading and listening to books in a wide range of genres.
Jean-Claude Carvill has written an amazing story about a tantra massage therapist. I never realized there was such a thing as tantra massage. I have heard of tantric sex, but never explored it in the past. This book has opened a new doorway into sexual experiences that intrigue me.
Jewel Greenberg narrates the story with a slightly husky voice that does the story justice. Her reading skill is superb and kept me focused on what she was saying.
Overall, the story is a very good one. Female ejaculation is something that has interested me from the first moment I realized I could do it. This book discusses it in depth in a way that is as educational as it is highly and explicitly erotic. (Of course it is explicit, that is apparent from the title and the description.)
I enjoyed this Audible from the beginning, and will be purchasing other books by Jean-Claude Carvill.
The first half of the book was absolutely amazing -- beautifully read by Simon Prebble (one of my favorite readers) and completely engaging, effortlessly explaining complex genetic puzzles. But, for me, the book got hard to take when it got to human evolutionary psychology. Maybe I'm one of the PC people Ridley accuses of holding science back, or maybe I'm just a woman from a younger generation, because the things he says about women's and men's different natures just don't ring true to my experience. And in the 20 years since the book was published, many of them have been, if not disproven, then shown to not be as reproducible and universal as Ridley implies.
