Grisham wrote a pretty good book here. I liked the story and while not his best, still worth the listen. However, I didnt like Dennis Boutsikaris much at all. His tone was pleasant enough but his delivery speed seemed much too quick for my liking. Also, he makes it tough to discern between characters....he makes all of the characters sound alike which makes you really have to concentrate while listening. With Boutsikaris there is no day dreaming and then coming back to Earth and being able to identify which chartcter is talking. I found myself often hitting my 30 second playback.
Mick is my favorite MC character. 5th Witness was not as good as the previous 2 Mickey books but still a great listen. It gets an extra star due to the great performance by Peter Giles. Giles once again does an excellent job bringing Mick to life. How anyone think Giles doesnt do a great job with Mickey is beyond me.
This book is amazing. It has every emotion possible runnin thru it. There are sad times, happy times, fun times and boring times. It really makes you think about your own life and have you done what you want to do and are you living the way you think is the right way to live. The Testament makes you think about all of that. I love Grisham's books as well as many others like Michael Conelly, James Burke......but The Testament just does something to me when I listen to it, it puts me in a transe almost...its that deep to me. If youre looking for a lot of action and suspense this isnt the book for you. However, if you are looking for a book that will make you think about what good you have done and how much better you could be.....this is the book you need to listen to. I have listened to it at least 5 times and I get something different out of it each listen. Frank Muller does his thing, just an amazing reader. Too bad he isnt around any longer. Every book he read was just a touch better with his narration.

After listening to Dark Harbor I was intrigued enough to download this newest book by Hosp. I wasn't disappointed. Although situations and outcomes are somewhat predictable, that fact doesn't detract from the overall performance. I enjoyed the relationship and banter between Finn and Koz. And although the May-December romance that Hosp injected into the story was a bit of a stretch, the May character was funny and believable. Somehow it all worked. Narrator Guidall was excellent and portrayed characters in a way that left little doubt as to who was doing the talking. I'll continue to download books by Hosp as they become available.
