OKI loved this book so much that I didn't want to turn it off. I was listening to it while hiking at the mountain and I got some amused looks when passers-by saw me laughing out loud. It's funny, interesting, insightful and honest. My only disappointment is that it ended.
I am actually not a big fan of the Bob Newhart TV shows, but I absolutely LOVED this book!
This series of discussions makes me laugh out loud no matter where I am. I sometimes feel a little sorry for Karl, but he holds his own for the most part. While he's a little out there, I sometimes find myself thinking, wow, what an interesting way to look at things. I'm sure this series was put together to share Karl's strange take on life with the rest of the world, but I feel that Ricky sometimes forgets that. He often verbally attacks Karl for being an idiot. But Steve brings balance to the situation by insisting that he is interested to hear what Karl has to say. I love the dynamic between the three of them.
