OKWell researched with many references to other peoples works. Succinct and very easy to listen to. So many solid ideas to put into practice right now. One of the best books I have listend to this year.
Excellent book that goes into listening as well as questioning and leading conversations. He goes beyond the standard mirroring and focusing on others that most books on listening suggest. It also included some powerful suggestions on sales lines. On the downside there were parts I would skip for they were a little presumptuous and other parts that I do not agree with. However, there were enough great parts to recommend this book.
One of the best books I have read on change. Their theory is that willpower for change is overrated. Then they go through a systematic way to approach change which is very uplifting. The power of this book comes from the way they made this theory so easy to understand and apply. Love that the second half of the book is detailed examples. I have found all Kerry Patterson???s books to be excellent.
I liked it. This book gives a glimpse into the French way of parenting. It turns out there is a lot to admire and emulate. The author did a good job of high-lighting the things that drive me crazy about what a lot of Americans moms tend to do (I'm guilty!), but in a light way. I don't see this book's premise as a another reason to feel bad as parents, though. I look at it as food for thought. Speaking of food, I've been introducing more variety w/ my kids (based on the French way),...voila! it worked!
