I am not usually a big reader of self help books but this one kept coming up in my searches for business and finance books.
After a skeptical start I was pretty darn impressed. I like that it is not about wishing yourself to wealth. Also Brian's messages are not so soft so as not to offend anybody.
He is direct, to the point, and filled with very practical "do it now" types of advice. Some of the advice in this book was implemented in my life within 24 hours of buying it.

I've been a huge fan of Brian Tracy but this one left me disappointed. I was expecting filet mignon and ended up with sausage. This is a poorly produced, sales-oriented mish-mash of his old stuff, which seems to be the key to his own get-rich-quick strategy of late.

50 minutes in to this lecture, three things are becoming increasingly evident. 1) this is geared more towards people who have a career in sales. 2)It's a bit outdated. 3)It is heavily laced with republican philosophy… which I find distracting/annoying since its very one sided and relies heavily on stereotypes.
That being said, this speaker is very interesting and engaging. There is good information here. I’m just not sure I would have used a credit on it considering the three notes I mentioned since it makes it a bit less applicable to my own situation. If you’re considering this book – the sample they provide is great and will grab you… but maybe you should thumb through a hard copy at the bookstore first to make sure its really what you need.
