The final book of the Aisling Grey series

phenomenal! A great ending to a great Series. Well done, Katie. I have read books one, two, and three several times. This is the first time I actually got to read book 4. I am not disappointed.

More fun/crazy antics from Aisling and Jim!

I have been a faithful Katie Macalister fan from day 1.... Before I joined Audible-I READ every series she has out and in doing so, my mind had created it's own opinion of all the character's voices, traits, etc... So, when I purchased and began listening to the Audible versions- narrated by Barbara Rosenblat, I admit I was a bit worried it wouldn't do them justice.... Her voice is very distinct- BUT... Oh, how I was SOOOO wrong!!!! Barbara's unique vocal ranges and absolutely superb variations on the characters accents BLEW ME AWAY!!! There really is no other narrator who could pull it off so flawlessly! Bravo Katie, and BRAVO Barbara!!!!

Laugh out loud fuuny

This was my favorite of the series. Aisling was not as ignorant and much more confident. Not to mention, the dark power was hilariously rude.

laugh out loud funny

This is a chuckle to a laugh out loud series. In a serious world this is just what the doctor ordered to tickle your funny bone if you like this genre. I am reading all the books in sequence. It works better for me that way.

Happily ever after until the next disaster.

Still enjoyable but I think that Aisling's story should have ended with the last book. I was a little more annoyed with her this book she was way to clingy and whiny in this book, maybe I shouldn't have listened to the books back to back. I usually don't with audiobooks or I burn out on the stories, which is why at any given time I am in the middle of several different series. I think the world that KM created is fun and adventurous and can't wait to see what mayhem she comes up with next. I like the author so much I will be getting Gabriel's story soon. Same narrator as the first three books, which should be read in order. Recommend reading Jim Bernheimer for an equally funny story.

crazy wacky supernatural

Drake goes missing on his wedding day and Aisling has to find and rescue him. And herself. And again. And again. What a role reversal and all the usual craziness that are Aisling’s lot in life. She’s sick and tired of being bullied and used. She’s tired of being a Prince of Abaddon; and being Proscribed; and being Fiat’s temporary mate; and the Red Dragons attacking… And Aisling puts all that frustration and her love of obscure texts to good use in the final chapter. Thus ends this primary series arc and sets up a new one.
I still think that Ms Rosenblat has a good voice for narration but she sounds way too mature older woman for this character and storyline. Giving credit where it’s due: she does a great performance for the demon Efrijim and Aisling’s stepmother Paula.

Good Triumphs

I know I've said this before but I really like this series. All story lines were wrapped up with Katie's usual sense of humor. I even shed a few tears but all turned out right by the final words. This series can continue and I understand that all of the characters in the Guardian series show up in the Silver Dragon series. So I am off to hear Gabriel's story next.

Katie MacAlister is on my favorite authors list

If you were to make a film of this book, what would be the tag line be?

This story filled with action, excitement, love, romance, humor has it all.

Any additional comments?

I cannot think of a better narrator for this series than the fabulous Barbara Rosenblat. Her various voices are the perfect match for all of Katie MacAlister's written words. I love all of the characters but Jim brings just the right humor to the story and the voice that Rosenblat uses for him is just perfect. I love Jim and his humor, voice and timing.

All of the characters are wonderful. Aisling with her daring, courage, and confidence, Drake (who is yummy) with his strength, protectiveness, and power, are wonderful and very alive.

I was especially relieved that MacAlister continues the story line. I was so worried it was going to end.
