To save her mother’s life, Clary must travel to the City of Glass, the ancestral home of the Shadowhunters—never mind that entering the city without permission is against the Law, and breaking the Law could mean death. To make things worse, she learns that Jace does not want her there, and Simon has been thrown in prison by the Shadowhunters, who are deeply suspicious of a vampire who can withstand sunlight.
As Clary uncovers more about her family’s past, she finds an ally in mysterious Shadowhunter Sebastian. With Valentine mustering the full force of his power to destroy all Shadowhunters forever, their only chance to defeat him is to fight alongside their eternal enemies. But can Downworlders and Shadowhunters put aside their hatred to work together? While Jace realizes exactly how much he’s willing to risk for Clary, can she harness her newfound powers to help save the Glass City—whatever the cost?©2009 Cassandra Clare; (P)2009 Simon and Schuster, Inc

Would you consider the audio edition of City of Glass to be better than the print version?
Hmmm...no. I like them both equally, but audio versions are great & easier to revisit prior to the next installment being released so you can refresh your memory.Who was your favorite character and why?
I love Clary in this book because she is so brave and determined. So glad there are 3 more books in this series!

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?
Yes. Most books I say read, but this narrator does such an amazing job embodying the characters I say listen to this one. I love the plot, with twist and turns that keep you listening all day long thirsting for more. What about Natalie Moore’s performance did you like?
Amazing narrator, bummer she didn't narrate the last 3 books, those narrators killed the end of the series for me. She has a distinguishable voice for each character that really got you absorbed in the book.Any additional comments?
If your looking for a series that you will want to re-read 10 times and each time love it more I recommend this series.LOVE - GREAT NARRATOR
