Betsy needs a job and amazingly lands the perfect one: selling designer shoes at Macy's. But the other vamps, including sexy Sinclair, don't want their queen selling shoes. And the vampire hunters are becoming a real pain, murdering innocent vampires. It seems that everyone wants something from Betsy.

Pretty much like book one. Betsy is still sarcastic. Too descriptive sex scenes, don't add to the story. Still a lot of fun.

Any additional comments?

I've read many vampire books and I'm always looking for a good series. When I read the first book in this series I thought it was hysterical. I laughed out loud many times at Betsy's rants and witty comebacks. The second book in the series was easily my favorite and I fell in love with other characters like Mark.

But by the third book I found myself fast forwarding past the rants I use to find funny. The main character Betsy just starts to become extremely annoying. The constant "poor me" rants and whining started to drive me crazy. I only made it to book 7 before I couldn't take what the main character had turned into anymore.

I don't regret the first couple credits I burned on this series and if you're still digging it by book 3 you may just end up liking the whole series. Enjoy it for the mindless entertainment.

I love Betsy, she is so sassy and I really enjoy this series. I can't wait to listen to the other ones.

I loved it.

Not great but likably good for an offbeat Vampire series. The characters interaction is entertaining enough to keep me coming back for more. Enjoy!

Quirky Vampire Queen

I have almost completed the entire series and because I just keep starting the next one, my reviews are getting behind. The banter is funny and Betsy is so self-centered that you can't help but love her. The narrator is excellent and keeps the book alive.
Be sure you read the books in order, or you could get lost on the references.
What a fun and humorous read!
