This is not a replacement for Twilight. This book is good for sitting in airport waiting for a delay flight to leave. There is nothing in this book to hold my interest to get the second book.

Loved the accent reading. Was very pleased.

It took me a while to get into it, but once I did I was hooked. It's not at all like the TV series. It has the same characters and the same struggle for Elana, but the story is very different. I watched the TV series but so far I like the story in the books MUCH better. On TV, just like they did with TrueBlood, they took the characters and some of the basics and then re-wrote it. Personally in both cases the books have the best stories. Definately worth listening to!!!

The first book was ok. If I had only bought this book I probably wouldn't have bought the 2nd book, but I had already purchased the 2nd so I listened to it also. It was great! Can't wait to finish the series.

Ugh, I regret buying this! Its nothing like the show. All it is, is teen drama. Pety things that teen girls worry about. Watch it online instead. Youll be happy you did. Dont download this
