""American literature today begins and ends with the meaning of what Miller has done."" — Lawrence Durrell
""There is nothing like Miller when he gets rolling. . . . One has to take the language back to Marlowe and Shakespeare before encountering a wealth of imagery equal in intensity."" — Norman Mailer
Banned in America for almost thirty years because of its explicit sexual content, this companion book to Miller's Tropic of Cancer is a semi-autobiographical novel that chronicles Miller’s life in 1920s New York City. Famous for its frank portrayal of life in Brooklyn's neighborhoods and Miller's outrageous sexual exploits—from his teenage affair with a piano teacher twice his age to his tumultuous marriages—Tropic of Capricorn is now considered a cornerstone of modern literature. The audiobook is narrated by acclaimed actor Campbell Scott.

Would you listen to Tropic of Capricorn again? Why?
Yes, as I enjoy Miller's work and Campbell Scott's narrationWhat was one of the most memorable moments of Tropic of Capricorn?
The descriptions of working for the cable company - hilarious. Discovering that he and a friend accidentally killed another kid when they were young was mindblowing!Which character – as performed by Campbell Scott – was your favorite?
Henry MillerIf you could rename Tropic of Capricorn, what would you call it?
Pretending to be normal, failing miserably, objective achieved.Any additional comments?
I enjoyed Tropic of Cancer much more, but I still enjoyed the rants. His obsession with astrology is curious.Shades of Cancer - not as much fun

Right now I am thinking Henry Miller must have been drunk or bored. Maybe he will run out of words...unless it gets better, don't waste your money! Will update if it is redeemable.
adjective overload.....
