In this installment of the Lord Valentine Castle books the character Hisoon becomes well developed and multi-dimensional and appropriately joins the other major characters as a strong force on Valentine's plans and actions. I believe Valentine pontifex is one of silverberg's strongest works. the performance using multiple narrators is quite effective adding a great deal to the story. highly recommended.

What made the experience of listening to Valentine Pontifex the most enjoyable?

When I saw there were multiple narrators I was concerned. Well, those concerns quickly went away when I realized why they went with multiple readers. Each chapter focuses on a different part of the story and/or character. Having a different reader for each character or character types was brilliant!

Who was your favorite character and why?

They were all so good and well done I can't chose a favorite.

What about the narrators’s performance did you like?

All four narrators did an outstanding job.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Yes but couldn't.

This is among the best audiobooks I have listened to. The story and narrators made for a wonderful experience journeying to this world of Majipoor.
