What a fun and entertaining read! Deep it's not, but I so enjoyed it I went out and bought the rest of the Solomon/Lord series in paperback!

My wife and I love audio books on long car trips, and this has been one of our all-time favorites! Great film-noir snappy dialogue and moving sub-plots, but the book is really about character development and interplay, just like the best in Spencer/Hepburn or a good Cary Grant movie. My only disappointment was to find that this is the only book by the author on Audible. BRING ON THE SEQUEL!!

This is a great book and a superb listen. A truly compelling story, with characters to relate to and like, and the perfect blend of suspense and romance. All this adds up to this book being the Gold Standard by which all my other legal thrillers can be measured. The only one that even comes close to this good is the Lincoln Lawyer. I've listened to them both twice: and in many ways I prefer this one. So, so, so good. Don't miss out! If you like legal thrillers, this one's a winner.

Wonderful narration. The plot has twists and never drags. You are drawn in from start to finish. The characters have so much depth and appeal...I Loved this book! I HIGHLY recommend it... I just there were more books avail from the author... The series has 2 or 3 more books that are not yet avail on audio :-( Hopefully they will come through soon...
