A warrior working undercover, allows himself to be sold as a slave....

A mistress lonely for a male she can trust buys him.

Can Thorn give Neh'sa his body...without losing his heart?

Commander Thornex is a hybrid - half Kindred and half Pyro - a much-feared people who have the ability to unleash horrific maelstroms of flame whenever they are angered. All his life Thorn has struggled to control the destructive power within him. A horrible accident in his past made him swear to never unleash the fire again, and for many years, he has kept himself under tight control. During his many undercover missions as a spy for the Kindred, his iron will has never wavered. That is until he allows himself to be sold as a slave on Yonnie Six....

Mistress Neh'sanna is the most renowned trainer of male body-slaves in all of Yonnie Six. The denizens of the female-ruled society revere her effortless control and the way she is able to make any male bend to her will. But though Neh'sa takes pride in her work, she is lonely. She trains male slaves for the use of other mistresses but has never found one of her own that she could truly let down her guard around. Then she buys Thorn and begins to have feelings for him no mistress ought to have for her slave....

The emotion between them grows intense, but when circumstances spin out of control and Thorn is forced to reverse their positions and take the role of dom, will Neh'sa ever forgive him? You'll have to read Surrendered to find out....

Love the book

I've been a big Kindred fan for a long time. The reason I didn't give 5 stars is the narration. His speaking voice is fine if I turned the playback speed to 1.15, it's the whispering that I just can't stand!!

Fantastic Story

What in the 7 hells; how can the author continue to come up with these interesting and exciting storylines for Kindred books? I love William’s narration; he brings the characters to life in the roles they are meant to portray. I hope the miserable mistresses of Yanni 6 get theirs! On to the next book!

Interesting

I liked this book very much. I liked the intrigue and relationship development. I could use a break from the mistresses of Yanni 6 and Zeta prime though.

Interesting story

It was an interesting story although I did think it was a little slow at one point. I enjoyed it overall. The narrator did a great job with the voices although I wish his whispering wasn’t quite so quiet.

What was all that whispering about?

I love Evangeline Anderson stories and I adore that she has male narrators read her audible books. William Martin did an outstanding job with the narration. So, Evangeline and William both get 5 stars from me. HOWEVER, whoever came up with the brilliant idea of having the narrator literally whispering every time a character voiced his/her thoughts, should be demoted to the mail room. Listening to all this grating whispering is so stressful, I had to take a break from listening to the story to do this review. Audible, those three stars are for you. Stop making the narrators whisper! Love the story. Hate the dumb whispers.
