Publisher's summary
It’s all happening right under the nose of his stepmother, Rebecca. Unfortunately, she isn’t the only person Jake and Kate have to look out for. When Jaimie, Jake’s older stepsister, begins to grow suspicious of how much time he and Kate are spending together, the situation begins to fray at the edges.
Forbidden love always tastes the sweetest.
NOTE: This book contains mature sexual themes.

It's alright
Another fine pseudoincestuous harem novel from Anya Merchant.
This series consists of three very short books. I'm not entirely sure why they weren't put together into one large book; I'm guessing so it's easier to feature cover art of each of the three women separately.
The plot was ok, and I appreciate that some elements carried over from book to book, being resolved later. Not everything felt satisfactorily resolved though.
There were suggestions that some BDSM play would be coming - but that never went anywhere, sadly.
There were a few typos. The book could have benefited from some more editing.
As for the Virtual Voice, I have mixed feelings. The narration was better than expected, surprisingly lifelike - although it mangles pronounciations of some words. I appreciate that tools like Virtual Voice can make books accessible that otherwise would only be available in print. But it seems like perhaps that should be an Amazon feature where readers can opt to have Kindle books read out loud, instead of a feature where authors can put books on Audible as if they are true audiobooks. Also, Virtual Voice seems fine for nonfiction, but for erotic novels like this, it falls flat - there are no character voices, and it can't have emotion or intensity. Also, there are ethical concerns about AI tools like this, both in potentially infringing on taking people's intellectual property, and on depriving people of jobs. All told, it was ok, but I wish the author had paid a voice actor instead.
