Implausible but Likeable

Good-Guy Gangsters?!? 18-year-old female protagonist, Julietta, has had a hard life and it's not going to get any better/easier as she gets back in contact with her ex-stepfather. He and his friends are all big mafia/cartel leaders who have managed to get Drugs out of their organizations(?). They all want a piece of Julietta but the big alpha, Romero, has first rights as step-daddy. Rival gangs and old family secrets complicate things further, but will Love win out in the end? You'll have over 8 hours to find out.

Delicious Taboo mafia romance

This was my first Woodward book and definitely not my last.

I loved the narrator’s voice for the main character but I wasn’t as much of a fan of her accented male characters. That being said, it was an entirely enjoyable book which I would recommend to lovers of dark mafia romance.
