Publisher's summary
Discover the three types of love - and the key to finding the one you're truly meant to be with.
We love and we love again - sometimes our hearts get broken but, somehow, we find the courage to dive back in. In this soul-searching audiobook, relationship expert Kate Rose guides listeners down the path to a deeper understanding of who they are, what they want, and finally, to the discovery of their Twin Flame.
According to Rose, love is a journey of self-discovery, and every relationship we have in our lives teaches us something that we need to learn about ourselves and what will make us truly happy. She introduces listeners to the three types of love we will all experience:
- The Soulmate introduces us to the dream of love, but somehow what seemed like it would be "happily ever after" wasn't meant to last forever.
- We are so consumed with making The Karmic Love work that we often fail to question whether it should work. As painful as it is to accept, this love that felt so right in the beginning is actually all wrong.
- The Twin Flame comes into our lives and often we don't even know it's love because...it's too easy. This is the love who helps us to accept ourselves just as we are because this is precisely what they do.
In You Only Fall in Love Three Times, Kate Rose shows us that happy endings may not happen quite the way they do in fairy tales - but they happen nonetheless.

In this audiobook, Richo offers a fresh perspective on love and relationships - one that focuses not on finding an ideal mate, but on becoming a more loving and realistic person. Drawing on the Buddhist concept of mindfulness, How to Be an Adult in Relationships explores five hallmarks of mindful loving and how they play a key role in our relationships throughout life.

Story
Perfect Love, Imperfect Relationships begins by showing how all our relational problems arise out of a universal, core wounding around love that affects not only our personal relationships but the quality of life in our world as a whole. This wounding shows up as a pervasive mood of unlove - a deep sense that we are not intrinsically lovable just as we are. And this shuts down our capacity to trust, so that even though we may hunger for love, we have difficulty opening to it and letting it circulate freely through us.

surprisingly great!
I never would have listened to a book like this, if not for listening to a podcast with Kate on there. I was intrigued. So here I am at the end of the book. absorbing everything. All the emotions, the "holy shit" moments. It's so good, I'm going to go back and listen again.

fantastic
narrator was easy to listen to but the best part was the information. coming out of an emotionly tumultuous relationship, i could easily identify what parts i need to own and heal to move on to a healthy, long lasting love. the labels given to each type of love was interesting amd drawn from world religions, perhaps there is a greater reason for this although it is not explicitly stated. the only issue i had was the occasional cussing. it just was unecessary.

Eye opening!
For the intellectual, deep, thinker and spiritual reader, this book is amazing! This book allows one to discern from a spiritual archetypical perspective. The differences of the people we have loved,, the lessons to be learned, and most importantly the healing needed in order to be open to that one love that stands the test of time.
