NSS at his best!
This story is told really well! The character development is perfectly balanced to give you an idea of who they are and what has made them that way, without distracting from the story! This is my new favorite book! I'm on my second listen through already!

Galaxy in Flames
I read a lot of sci-fi space opera, a whole lot. The Last Steward stands among some of the best. It’s somewhere in between Galaxy Edge Season One and Firefly. It’s a good mix. Nick does a fantastic job with his world building too.
I’ll definitely look forward to following this one to its conclusion. Take a listen in if you love things like BattleStar Galactica, Firefly, or Star Wars.

Nick has never let me down!!! I absolutely love every world he brings me to ‘live’ in while listening/reading his stories! Cannot wait for book 2!!!

Definitely recommended
Great new series by NSS. Love the mix of comedy and through-provoking plot. Epic in scope, and a tight-knit set of character. Love the Trash Squid! Highly recommended.

What a Great Ride
This is one hell of a story the characters are all so great, the friendly banter back an forth between them really make it a great listen.

NSS at his best!
What a crazy awesome new world Smith has brought us. Fans of Hell Divers or Orbs will feel right at home. Axel is a bit Malcom and a bit Picard as he captains the Trash Squid along with a vibrant crew.
The world building is superb, spanning many planets across many stars.
The earth has become a wasteland, forcing humanity to find a new home. With the help of AI, they invent FTL and soon discover they are not alone.
All Axel has ever wanted was to visit these other planets, but he was raised on earth by his mother and his aunt.
However, his past hides a dark secret.
Boyett narrates 3/4 of it and does an incredible job! And Hvam always brings her best performance, even with as little as she does in this book!
I absolutely loved this book and can’t wait for the next one!
