Well done in every aspect. The facts were facts and not hyperbole. The controversies were not slanted or opinionated. The performance was outstanding. Excellent book!

The real inside story!

This book gives the real inside story that netflix hides away! And the narrator is PERFECT!

Pretty solid job

I liked this book. I thought the author did a great job of summarizing F1 history. My only minor complaint is that he over-emphasizes the importance of things in the last 5 years.

Best book on F1 Racing … Period!

Excellent book on the sport I’ve followed for 50 years now. Whether you’re a decades long “Petroleum-Head”, as they say in the book, or a new Gen Z, “Drive to Survive” era fan it is extremely well researched and written. Not overly dramatic, not overly clinical just a great high definition look at every era and every important character in the history of the sport.
The production and naration of the audio book is superb as well.

Great for the Old or New F1 Fan

Well told history of F1, concentrating on the modern evolution of the sport thru the 2022 season. Behind the scenes and the domination by various teams and drivers along the way, Includes a chapter dedicated to the last race of the ‘21 season and the infamous yellow flag finish, denying Hamilton his 8th championship and Red Bulls recent rise to dominance. Recommend to anyone one with an interest in F1.

Excellent story telling

Pulled me even further into F1 than just Drive To Survive. I loved the series on Netflix but really got more into the sport listening to the book. Highly recommend.

informative history, entertaining story, overall good narration

I liked the depth of the history, some of the behind the scenes from before I was alive and a fan. so many older famous names I knew but not at the depth and color that was added by this book.

Only minor annoyances were a little too much Bernie story and the occasionally indirectly pronounced names that should not be messed up at this level.

Very much enjoyed it and was eager to resume listening after having to stop.

Great Deep Dive Into Formula 1

This was a great history of F1 but some of the pronunciations of the driver names were really… off putting

Concise but Comprehensive

This book offers a concise but comprehensive overview of F1 history. A great way for newer (Drive to Survive) fans to fill in their gaps of knowledge about the sport and understand a lot more of what is going on back at a team’s headquarters, in the paddock, the cockpits, and FIA headquarters during a race.
