A fan grumbling.
if you haven't read this book yet and you haven't read the first one, I would suggest waiting until the third book because there's a very irritating cliffhanger. I'm so excited for the third book but I'm mad at the second books ending. LOL

Massive cliff hanger be warned!
I love the book, I hate the cliff hanger, Was so angry when just cut mid super important fight.
Author never do that agene or I will stop supporting you. I love your story so far but that sort of stunts is not acceptable.

Great continuation. some really good fights with real consequences and nice overall progression and the duels on the arena were awesome. Can't wait for the next one

It’s like this whole book was a soap opera.
I swear it felt like every other chapter someone was crying for stubbing their toe or some other reason. In fact it just followed a basic loop throughout the whole story, fight in dungeon, do white knight goodie two shoes activities, then have a heart to heart and then cry. It didn’t matter the character or what the topic was about someone shed some tears. All that said I suppose it was fine though I did skip through the sappy parts and the cringy cheesy white knight monologues. Other than that the book would be excellent.
