Story
If you’re struggling to stay on top of your to-do list, you probably have a good reason: anxiety, fatigue, depression, ADHD, or lack of support. For therapist KC Davis, the birth of her second child triggered a stress-mess cycle. The more behind she felt, the less motivated she was to start. She didn’t fold a single piece of laundry for seven months. One life-changing realization restored her sanity—and the functionality of her home: You don’t work for your home; your home works for you.

In Dirty Laundry, life partners Rich Pink and Rox Emery unapologetically guide you through the ups and downs of life with ADHD. I’m 40 and in the process of being diagnosed with adhd and this book is amazingly helpful. I don’t want to change who I am but I do want to have better control over the things that are adhd related that make my life so much more difficult than I feel like it needs to be. This book is full of helpful ideas and suggestions which I love and plan on implementing in my life. The fact that Dr. Hamdani also has adhd is really helpful because she knows what it’s like dealing with it and I think that gives her a unique perspective and understanding.

so useful and practical
I loved how the book was written to cater for people with a short attention span like us. The content is divided into small articles, simple language is used and the ideas mentioned are so practical amd easy to implement...

This book is so comforting
since I was diagnosed I’ve been eager to read and learn everything I can. but I started to feel some kind of impatient with knowing so much facts and not knowing how to articulate this for my progress. this book help me regain hope in knowing about my condition so I can handle it and eventually “outsmart my brain”

ADHD is not a superpower...
I totally agree. I appreciate the fact that she understands that some of us struggle with day to day life. I feel bad for the person that left that negative review, her explanation clearly went over her head. She not only brings up medication but mindful things you can do to improve your focus. Medication can't help you alone, but sometimes you don't know where to start... she gives you ideas.
Bonus** the book is easy to read for us with a distracted brain. lol!
