This newer edition of the King James Bible published in 1769 is usually preferred by most that read it over the older 1611 version. This 1769 edition is highly sought after due to being more reader/listener friendly than the 1611 since many typos were fixed.... So beautiful!!
Downloaded it a few days before seeing the Opera in Sesttle. Such a pleasurable listen. I had to pause numerous times just to smile and soak in what I was hearing. The end nearly brought me to tears. I cant wait to get the actual book now and read it over slowly. I love that audible has books in other languages too. PS, the readers pauses and overall style didn't sit well with me at first but then I increased the speed of the recording and it was perfect.
