Fantastic story!

What a moving story!
I discovered this author looking for a good book included in my membership…boy did I find a gem! So excited to read this third book in the story that I went back and purchased the first 2 books!

Heartwarming!
This story took me back to a time where I didn’t exist. A time where the slaves were free, but racism was still around. This book showed love between a white and black friendship that blossomed and helped change history for that neighborhood. I cried a few times and smiled a lot! Such a great story and beautifully read by Kate Forbes!
