had great nuggets. lost me for a minute. had to stop and come back later.

No right answers???

Overall I really enjoyed this book and I think there are some sound concepts and ideas that could be quite useful. My only real pet peeve was that at the end of every chapter the author asks a series of questions and then finishes up by saying “there are no RIGHT answers“. I think she really intends to say there are no WRONG answers, but It’s quite confusing. Why would I even attempt to answer a question if I know ahead of time that there are no right answers.

Some Gold Nuggets But Tons of Boring Fillers

Pros - some real gold nuggets in the first half of the book. The true amount you're earning from work factoring in recovery expense, transport, and clothes is pure gold. Some good tactical information early on as well.

Cons - Tons of fillers and boring ass stories. The audiobook could have been easily condensed to 1/4 its size. I was so mad that the author won't get straight to the point. It's boring story after another with respective boring chapter summaries. The second half of the audiobook was useless, I learned nothing from it.

I'd recommend the first half of the audiobook but the second half you can easily skip and you won't miss anything.

To evaluate what you spend your life energy on.
To reduce your spending on things you don’t won’t is a eye opener.
You need to read this book to help you save more time and money.

YMOYL - Great Listen

Your Money or Your Life makes it a little easier to understand what wants are and what needs are. Separating these two things greatly increase your chances of saving more money each month to help you achieve FI.

Great book

This should be a required textbook in high schools. The fact that the author narrated it made this a great listening experience.

Good Read for the 30-40 year old crowd.

If you’re in your late 50s or early 60s with what the author describes as “enough” don’t bother reading this. I thought I might find some magic formula as to when I should call it a day and retire from my own small business. Nope. This book speaks to folks in the accumulation phase.
