Autobiographical thriller.
I read this autobiography in the late 90’s. I was very impressed and thoroughly enjoyed it. Upon hearing of Yeager’s death I wanted to refresh the memory of what I had read. I enjoyed it as much this time as I did 20+ years ago. Incredible life.

Incredible story about an incredible man.
I have often heard about what an incredible pilot Chuck Yeager was. Granted, this was written with a large degree of personal bias. However, my respect for him as a man has grown. Definitely a must listen.

A truly amazing life story
All my life I've heard about Chuck Yeager shooting down the ME 262 and going on to break the sound barrier. And well that was the extent of my knowledge. Chuck Yeager did those things and so much more. His life is full of fascinating events and accomplishments.
You also get to know those closest to chuck like Glennes, Bud Andersson, Jackie Chocron and more.

The best book I have ever read!
