Duke is the best character!!

Amazing again by Craig!
So many things to comment on. The power, the betrayal, the sacrifices! I was unsure the direction that Craig was going with this, but what a way to bring in another dimension to the book. Bray is sensational with his audio as well and really brings the life to the characters. Now we have to wait for the next one! It’s going to be a tough one with that cliffhanger at the end!

Are the chapters out of order?
Chapter 20 specifically seems like it’s in the wrong spot it definitely should be way earlier in the book. That’s super annoying especially when this book was delayed two weeks. Also I still don’t understand why they googled the history of Merlin because a bad guy says a similar name and They google the entire historical era of the knights era AND They google the worst year in history, BUT nobody tried to google Babylon and a “wizard” named Marduk? Just typing in the word in they’d know he’s a god IMMEDIATELY. That’s super annoying.

wellllll. Author painted himself into a corner
If cute dopey dog is always hungry gag is unendingly funny to you, then you're in for a treat. It never stops. Chapter after chapter book after book. are we there yet, are we there yet are we there yet are we there yet are we there yet?
The author does a great job and suckers the reader that he is finished with this gag at the beginning of this book... yeah too late. Are we there yet are we there yet?
He also does a great job with the hungry dog gag so there is that.
