While the content is top-notch, a few more pictures could spice up the learning. Overall, it's a pretty awesome tool to ace Spanish with a fresh and culturally rich vibe.

AWESOME Concept Delivers

I have been teaching myself Spanish for some time and have wondered how much my comprehension has progressed outside of my app’s short drills. This book is exactly what I needed. Instead of providing lists of words and sentences you might not use–or a focus only on tourism–the book contains dozens of relevant, modern, two-person conversations on a broad variety of topics. Each conversation is provided twice–at normal speed and about two-thirds slower.

The accompanying PDF contains translations, but I have chosen not to access it because I feel immersing myself in the conversations multiple times is the closest I would get to real-world immersion without living among Spanish speakers. The book comes with other bonuses: a monthly webinar with an instructor and a Facebook group. I highly recommend this to anyone seeking to up their Spanish-speaking game.

Very Helpful, I would recommend it!

For the upcoming Christmas holiday, my family and I are planning a trip to Costa Rica. My family and I listened to this book to practice the Spanish we learned in high school. Unfortunately, mine was in the 1970s, and I discovered I remembered very little, but it helped me quickly relearn it. The audiobook is simple to follow, and they quickly practice their Spanish pronunciation.

This is just a super book for learning Spanish. Really detailed and easy to follow. I would recommend this to anyone learning Spanish as a great resource.

Learn Spanish at Your Own Pace!

This is a great way to get immersed into Spanish, and learn it. But, the best part is you have support. There is a webinar you can access and there is a pdf you can get to follow along in English...as you're hearing the Spanish. Of course, you can go back and listen over and over again as you master the skill. I've had Spanish in college and it was just an absolute burden. However, this is much easier and better because you're exposed to real time conversations. It makes it easy to follow along, and pretty soon you'll be thinking along in Spanish as I have found myself doing. So, for me, it's a very good thing. I'm happy to have found this book. For anyone who is seeking to learn, this is an excellent way to master it.

This book is an incredible asset to anyone wanting to brush up on their Spanish! After moving to the Midwest I ran out of peeps to speak with so my Spanish got rusty! This book has been the perfect tool to help me regain my skills!

Very promising concept

The concept of this learning-Spanish audiobook involves native Spanish speakers solely who recorded both a slower-than-normal speed recording of all the conversations and a normal speed recording of all the conversations. I feel that it's a very promising concept for both intermediate and advanced-level learners of the language to enhance pronunciation and comprehension in the target language. This audiobook features conversations with titles such as:

- Eco-friendly lifestyle
- Instagram Foodie
- Fitness influencers
- Online dating horror stories
- Coding boot camp
- Drone enthusiasts

The audiobook is entirely in Latin American Spanish and I have a slight preference for learning Spanish with resources that have at least a little narration in English which is why I am giving it four stars instead of five. I guess the author thought it would be more useful to immerse the listener in the Spanish language and not include any narration in English.

Bonus PDF was really helpful

Although I used this audiobook mainly while commuting, when at home, the bonus PDF was very helpful since there were many Spanish words I was not already familiar with. Overall, I give this book 5 stars because it has so much content and also has authentic Spanish speakers.

Exceptional! But not for beginners

As someone who considers herself to be on an advanced conversational-Spanish level, this set of 69 conversations was a godsend. I am learning other languages now and just hope the publisher releases a 69 Present-Day French Conversations Conversations book as well as one for Italian.

Lots of value!

I am very happy with this audiobook. There are well over 10 hours of authentic modern day Spanish conversations. So far, it's exactly what I need to improve my conversational skills in Spanish. Muchas gracias!
