Where are my 47 Epilogues?

This fantastic addition to the series is engaging and smartly paced from beginning to end.
The only thing I can even complain about is not anything to do with the book, but to do with the lack of numerous epilogues.
Since books 3 & 6 ended in much the same way, I was looking forward to seeing the wider world from the POV of various other characters. Instead, I have to settle for a satisfying and fulfilling ending.

You've masterfully brought so many not-so-main characters to life, that there are pressing questions about the world you've created that now need answering.
What's going on in the wider astral?
How did Dawn's possible reunion with her parents go?
What's happening with the Mercers & the Gellers in Greenstone?
(I hate him, but still...) What evil is Thaddwick Van Suckenstein unleashing upon the world?
What's the deal with Clive's Eel Farming Parents?

All of these questions could have been answered in the litany of epilogues I expected to wrap up this 3rd trilogy in the series, but NOOO... my expectations have been dashed and sundered against reality.

All I have now are the burning questions that might only peripherally matter to the main plot, the months of wait for book 10, and the glorious closure of one plot arc opening directly into the epic promise of another.

NINE books later, and it's so good!

I am so sad I've finished and have to wait for the next book! This story, characters, AND narrator are Gold! Really, the narrator is amazing! there are so many characters, and I never have to question who is talking.

Another great book

Nothing else to say, more of what you liked about the other series with lower stakes, which is a good breather.

There's a lot to love, but...

There's a lot to love, but...

I'll be honest and say I was disappointed in the long descriptions of events. It's the job of the author to set the scene, and the job of the reader to imagine it. We readers don't need the scene to be described in so many details that the entire 28-hour book amounts to a single battle and a ton of dialogue. Please, let the readers infer more, and, if you're feeling generous, speed the pace up in book 10. Love ya!

The best series

Absolutely loved this one. It reminded me of the first books. A nice long story. Going to a new place, a giant battle and meeting new interesting people. Having read into Book 10 I can’t wait til November to hear it in full.

it passed, I didn't get angry at the author.

over all plot: is not progressed till much later in the book. The plot does develop enough in this book to keep my interest. I'm so glad that the author made the choice to write to that point.

Love the story. Rushed production

I am a big fan of the story and character progression overall. Heath Miller does a great job with the narrative.

In the past 8 books I have noticed some inconsistencies in the audio where you can tell the words are to close together (obviously an editing error putting together reading sessions). It has not bothered me much and it is really not that bad.

Book 9 has been a huge disappointment regarding the production and editing. Multiple times where sentences cut off and skip to the next paragraph or sentence. There was even a huge blunder where you can hear the narrator say “are we done” at the end of a reading session. Did they even listen to the story all the way through to make sure they did not mess up??? I still have 5 hours left of the story and I felt the need to write a review before finishing. I have never written a review before but I hope the editor/ writer reads it to know the corrections to make in the future.

It just works. Next please!

Loving this series. I really can't put my finger on exactly what it is, but whatever mix of stuff is in this series is right up my alley. If you like the rest of them you'll like this one.
