Honesty

I’ve been listening to and following Kara Swisher for about 5 years now. I’m very impressed by her blunt honesty and directness. Excellent story, loved her reading.

Kara’s Insight is Great!

Fantastic book. It was great to hear an insider’s journey through all of the tumultuous years in Silicon Valley and beyond.

As a programmer starting out in the late eighties I can tell She knows her stuff Swisher is a good tough writer.

Well, written by somebody who is clearly and it from the beginning. Entertaining and keeps on moving period I like her style. Good writing. I'm enjoying this actually listening to it for the second time. Highly recommended goes by fast never boring. I will be watching for her public appearances.

All the jerks who made billions, especially Musk and Zuckerberg and their absolute unaccountability to the public good. Regulation of the tech industry is past due.

Tech Industry Tour Guide

Sharing events, people, and historical milestones in tech with an inside look at the “just like us” individuals who aspire to do great things. A compilation of misguided efforts, blind hubris, and naivety all disguised as altruistic efforts to change the world for the better. Depending on your own personal outlook and relationship with the tech you interface with, it’s all amazing and incredible, or it’s infuriating and a bit scary. Kara presents with a great deal of objectivity and integrity, leaving the reader with plenty to ponder and reflect upon. She is always witty and highlights both the irony and the hypocrisy. Fun listen and nice to get to know Kara a little more.

Trolls are going to troll

Disregard the critics… this was an incredible breakdown of her time dealing with Silicon Valley.
